Weetabix Cheesy Chops Recipe

Cheesy Weetabix Lamb Chops

Liven up your lamb chops with a crunchy and cheesy Weetabix crumble. A fantastic dish to feed the whole family!


Serves 4

  • 4 loin of lamb chops
  • 1Tbsp olive or rapeseed oil
  • 2 medium onions
  • 396g (14 oz) can tomatoes
  • 1.25ml (1/4 level tsp) pepper
  • 3 Weetabix
  • 50g (20oz) low fat, mature cheese, grated



  1. Trim excess fat from the chops and remove the bone.
  2. Heat oil in pan, add chops and brown on both sides.
  3. Meanwhile, skin and thinly slice onions.
  4. Drain chops well and place in a shallow casserole dish in a single layer.
  5. Top each chop with slices of onion and pour in tomatoes, add seasoning.
  6. Crush Weetabix and mix with the cheese, sprinkle over the chops.
  7. Cover dish and bake in the oven set at 170 degrees C for 1 ½ hours.
